"I am so grateful for a school that is focused on giving kids their best every day. Having our son attend Virginia Academy has been a wonderful experience. The academic challenge here is much greater than the private schools he has attended in the area. We were recently presented with a challenging dynamic, for which I was extremely pleased with the support and speed for which the teacher, principal, and even the headmaster intervened to provide. This level of caring and dedication from the teachers and administration helps both our child and our family know that we've chosen the right school. Thank you, Virginia Academy!"

Virginia Academy has one of the finest academic preschools in Loudoun County. A recent study by the U.S. Department of Education revealed that 80% of an individual's ability to learn is acquired by the age of eight. Therefore, an early academic foundation stressing the "3R's" in learning basic skills, study habits and motor development is most essential. Such an academic stage is set in our preschool grades and is blended with Christian citizenship and character development.

Our preschool classes are 5 days a week - Monday through Friday. Children may be enrolled in either the half day, school day, or extended day program. The half day program is from 8:30 am-12:30 pm.  The school day program provides our academic programming from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, which includes an afternoon nap and activity time.  The extended day program is similar to the school day option, but also includes additional extended hours of care from 7 - 8 am and/or 3:30 - 6:30 pm.  Lunch is included for all programs.

Each school day is started with prayer and pledges to the American flag, the Christian flag, and the Bible, followed by a short Bible lesson. The highly regarded "A Beka" curriculum is used in our preschool to provide a head start and wonderful foundation (centered around reading) for further learning.  All students are exposed to the performaing arts (including weekly chorus classes) and participate in at least one stage performance each school year.

Our preschool offers academic care for children ages 2 through 4 (K2, K3, & K4). Please contact us at for more information.
